Are you the next chair of the PD Committee?
CES Ontario prides itself on offering cutting-edge, informative, and useful professional development for evaluators across the province and nationwide. Our PD Committee is a key committees in our chapter's operations: by offering 8-12 learning experiences for evaluators every year, we contribute to the sector's vitality and growth.
Now the PD Committee wants your help! We are currently seeking a Co-Chair to help lead the committee, and we're looking for a passionate professional to step into the role.
The gist:
- The PD Committee (PDC) Co-Chair is a director-level position within the chapter. The PDC Co-Chair will serve on the Board of Directors and as a leader of the PDC. The Board and the PDC each meet monthly
- With the support of the Board and the committee, the PDC Co-Chair will: help lead the 2022-2023 PD calendar work plan and budget process; run 8-10 PDC meeting per year; report to the general membership about committee activities; and keep the chapter's strategic goals top of mind as activities are carried out
- The role is highly collaborative! The Co-Chair works closely with another Co-Chair, directors of the Board, committee members, and PDC Chairs of other CES chapters
- The role is interesting! This is an opportunity to shape the chapter's professional development profile, work with expert evaluators and facilitators, talk shop about marketing and promotions, and lead dedicated volunteers
- We are especially interested in Co-Chairs who bring knowledge of marketing and event planning and/or e-learning, but welcome all interested chapter members to apply!
