CES Needs Mentors!
CES Ontario is thrilled to announce that we have received unprecedented interest in our Credentialed Evaluator Mentorship Program. As a result, we are still recruiting for CE Mentors! Please consider becoming a mentor to an evaluator whose goal is to become credentialed this year. Read on for details....
In response to our members' requests for support, the Canadian Evaluation Society Ontario Chapter (CES-ON) introduced the CE Mentorship Program in the beginning of 2021. This program provides mentorship to those who are in the process of becoming a Credentialed Evaluator (CE). The Goals of the CE Mentorship Program: - To connect experienced and Credentialed Evaluators to those applying for the CE Designation
- To better connect and create a community network for evaluators across Ontario
- To identify new opportunities for Credentialed Evaluators to share their experiences and give back to CES-ON community.
We are now opening up applications for the second cohort of the program! We are looking for Credentialed Evaluators from CES-ON who are interested in acting as Mentors, to provide their expertise and experiences to Mentees working through CE applications. The frequency of meeting and communication will be agreed upon between the mentor and mentee, through a mentorship agreement. Mentors can to submit hours for Professional Development Credits to maintain their CE Designation. Networking opportunities will be available – including a virtual event in the beginning of December. If the opportunity to be a CES-ON Mentor speaks to you, please submit this short application form.
We will also be accepting Mentor applications on a rolling basis beyond the preferred date.
We thank all applicants for their interest in participating in the CE Mentorship program as a CES-ON Mentor. Those selected will be contacted by the CES-ON Membership Committee for the next steps.
