Webinar: Decolonizing Data: Unsettling Converations About Research

Reflect on how to work with Indigenous knowledge systems and worldviews in a respectful way to address health inequities. The presenters will draw on their experience working across research contexts - including evaluation research - to share knowledge for decolonizing research, including upholding data governance and methods for taking a respectful and carefully nuanced approach to two-eyed seeing called Responsive Research and the TRAC method. This presentation is for anyone interested in or seeking effective frameworks for decolonization and Indigenization in evaluation frameworks.

A two-part online workshop for evaluators to support Culturally Responsive Evaluations through a Reconciliation lens. These sessions will focus on the need for culturally responsive evaluation, while challenging and disrupting status quo evaluations, and will re-orient evaluators to practice evaluation in a culturally responsive way. Through interactive examples, this training will support transformative learning for working alongside Indigenous communities.
